Hey guys, was wondering if any of you had seen this issue before? I popped my hood and was checking the coolant level when I spotted this

Now obviously I need a new serpentine belt. And upon further investigation I noticed this damaged pulley

I see why my belt split now. I'm wondering if anyone has this part number or has had this happen to them?
I'm really curious as to how my pulley became as sharp as a pizza cutter. My day keeps getting worse the further I look under my hood :(

A local auto parts store ought to be able to find you one of those instantly... I've bought them at auto zone, advanced auto parts, NAPA, CarQuest, etc...

Idler pulley, not to hard to do. Belt and pulley together, couple hours, couple hundred bucks in parts. Just some normal ware and tare for that age truck.

Ok so it's the idler pulley. Thanks guys! I also seem to have an oil leak down there coming from the chain case I suspect. Also this 2005492ad8b50c73185860fe0979f0a3_d539e611e9f08215af718cb593db6b4706106583.jpg
