So I've searched everywhere and can't figure out where a suitability vacuum hose is on my 2012. I don't have a brake booster like all these other Tacoma's have.

And ideas? I plan to put 1/3 of the can through as much of the engine as possible then the rest in the tank

I just occasionally add some to a tank of gas. Even thats probably unnecessary but I always have a couple cans around for the 2 strokes.

If you ant your engine to run better put better gas in for a couple tanks and change spark plugs.

    dont even bother....

yes you found that the 09+ TRD off road 4x4 tacomas dont have a vacuum master cylinder.

Best thing you can do for the truck is to get on her from time to time.... redline a day keeps the carbon away is my motto.. If im merging on the freeway, foot to the floor and let her run free.

If you feel the need to clean injectors (by putting seafoam in the tank) dont use seafoam... it does a halfass job at cleaning injectors, get something like Gumout with regain, or Redline S1 fuel injector cleaner, which both have the proper chemical to remove builup in injectors.

Why is everybody doing this crap? Don't do it, it is stupid and if done incorrectly you can ruin the rings and or hydrolock the engine.

If you feel you really must use Seafoam put it in the gas or oil instead per directions on the can.

    Don't be a dummy.

Ive seen a guy scope his engine before and after a seafoam and it was noticably cleaner. Now that was on a 200k+ jeep. My 50k Tacoma is most likely spotless but I just changed my spark plugs so figured why not add 10$ preventative maintenance step on the schedule every time I do that. But without a clear beneficial spot to send it into the engine I won't bother. I tossed half the bottle in the gas and will keep the rest around for cleaning up my 2 stroke bike!

    This.

    Or Techron.

I use a bottle in a full tank, once a year, at the beginning of one of our trips that will consume more than a tank, and run the tank with the cleaner in it pretty low.

I consider it PM, not a cure for anything.

My last high RPM car I kept decarbonized Italian tune-up style, supported by a bottle of Techron every 10k just prior to an oil change. Ran great, even at 100k, the 7,200 RPM rev limiter was easy to find

No money, all went to truck...
I have to say, seafoam worked wonders on my 97 4runner. It was recommended you suck it up with one of the vacuum hoses you popped of the engine. It created this unbelievably large cloud of smoke out the exhaust. But it worked pretty well.

I can't imagine why this would be necessary on a 2012 with 50K miles on it.
