Does anyone have any experience with these Hankook Optimo H724 235/75/15.
I don't do off road in my tacoma. Very fixed budget, and at $75.00 each and 70,000 mile warranty they look ok. The size would be going up from the stock oem firestone destination tires.

No experience with those tires but I've had great luck with Hankook tires in general. I've had the H727 on my wife's car for a while now and they seem to be doing great. I'd google those tires and the size you're looking at and see what people are writing for reviews.

Be prepared to utilize the 70k mi. warranty to get them prorated. Make sure you get all documents to make sure you're able to do so. They'll never last 70k mi.

Other than that, good and smooth tires. Enjoy them, then get them prorated when needed.

Reviews were mixed, mostly good, only a few light trucks or suv reviews. I've ordered em, . The tread pattern isn't a aggressive looking as the wrangler tires, but with a limited and fixed budget one does what one can.
The wear bars on the oem tires are nearly even with the tread and after totaling my silverado from hydroplaning with almost new tires on it, these worn stock tires make me nervous.

For the money, really I'm not counting on the 70,000 mile warranty much. I've only got about 46800 miles on the truck now, so if I see 50,000 out of the hankooks I'll figure good on em.

Any recommendations for psi on the 235/75/15 for best wear and gas mileage?

Why do you say they'll never last 70k? If you drive conservatively, they should make it just fine.

I went just over 65k with the stock dunlops, that were rated for 60k.

It will all depend on how you drive.

This is true thanks. My stock tires are the firestone destination and like I said only have just under 47,000 miles. I'm right conservative in my driving too. The tires have worn evenly across.

Check the reviews on Tire Rack.
Overall, the best bang for the buck appears to be Firestone Destinations that were on your truck. I would be tempted to stay with them. 47k miles is pretty darn good if you are happy with the performance up to this point. But, if the these are that much cheaper.......

the stock oem firetsones are nearly $100.00 more than the hankook in moving up to the 235/75/15, I'm looking for a bit taller wider profile on the tire and also try to get my speedo more in line towards accuracy. Did I screw up?

I ran Hankook Optimo's on my street driven Gen 1 and found them to be excellent tires.

Good handling and low rolling resistance for good gas mileage.

I noticed that my son in law had put Hankook Optimos on his Range Rover not knowing I also had them. So we each came to the same buying decision separately. :)

Here's the before with the stock oem tire

and the new 235/75/15, real smooth ride, gotta get hold of a gps to see what the tire size has done to the speedo.
