2013 Tacoma Cold Air Intake Availability

Afe....... Proven much better than the k&n (TRD).

 

I wanted a Cold Air Intake...I have the URD TCAI installed and love it, it's also proven to give you better HP and MPG

Yeah, "proven", YMMV is the only comment I'll make. For me no mpg change from stock to; aFe drop-in, homegrown CAI with Volant scoop, aFe, URD and URD+MAF Cali.... There are some perf gains, but they are small and at the high-end.

 

I know this is an old thread, but I hope this info helps a 2013 Tacoma owner looking or searching for a 2013 TRD CAI. Google seems to always lead here to TWF. Here is correct info from an earlier page:

That is why Toyota stopped offering the TRD CAI for 2013 Tacoma models. I wanted a TRD CAI but after reading this thread and asking the dealership about a 2013 TRD CAI, Toyota does not have one. The Service Consultant suggested I get the aFe Stage-2 Si Pro DRY S CAI for my supercharged 4.0L V6, just like Gadget is quoted saying. I asked him if it would void my warranty and he said no. They are a better design like the older models and is the top choice from the Toyota Service Consultant and the Toyota Technician who installed my supercharger.
So to finalize my statement, get an aFe Stage-2 Pro DRY S CAI, Toyota recommended.
