Hi all. I'm obviously new, and thought I would introduce myself. My name is Joe (obviously) and I have never owned a truck in my life until today.

To make a very long story short, I borrowed my girlfriend's father's 2007 Tacoma and some idiot without insurance ran a red light and t-boned the truck. Her father was just about to sell it this weekend to a co-worker and I got hit a few days ago. His insurance is covering the damage, but I felt guilty that his truck is no longer an "accident-free" vehicle. So, I went ahead and bought it from him. It is currently a 2007 Tacoma with 55,000 miles on the clock. To be honest, I was never planning on buying a truck, but now that I have it, I'm going to be doing some modifications. I also own a 2012 Corvette ZR1 and a 1970 Chevrolet Camaro. I haven't joined a forum since I was 16 and had a Honda Prelude, but with this being my first truck and all, I figured a little help from you experts wouldn't hurt. I am currently reading a tutorial to refresh my memory about posting pictures (usually used imageshack) but will give photobucket a shot.

Ok. Spent about half an hour setting up a photobucket account and learning how to post pics. I have posted picks of the truck prior to the accident, the damage afterwards and the idiot who decided it would be a good idea to hit a Tacoma. I also threw in a pic of my Corvette and the Camaro I'm working on.

My new (to me) 2007 Tacoma (before accident)

I really want to change the front end to a 2012-Present front end. I am currently reading the post originally from 11T4x4TRD link to post..(http://www.tacomaworld.com/forum/2nd-gen-tacomas/293318-2012-tacoma-front-end-conversion-rg11.html) which is the reason I signed up to learn more. One thing I believe he is missing, is that I would need the grille surround off a 2012 Tacoma as well due to the headlights having a different shape. Any more additional info would be greatly appreciated as I do plan on doing this conversion while the truck is getting the doors repaired. Thanks all!
