And wouldn't you know I saw your truck for the first time at Bob Evans when I was leaving work.

Me and a couple of buddies did it. One friend has a lift so we used his house. I don't think I could talk them into doing it again.

Ha ha. I parked on the end on purpose just in case if you were still at work.

Bummer I was hoping you used a local business for install. Don't really know anyone local that installs lifts.

Always late to the party......Oh well.....I'm here. I'm relatively new to Kentucky. We live in Bullitt County, just south of Louisville. I've been messing around with 4wd's since the early '70's, but haven't done much off roading in the last 15 years or so. Looking to get back into the fun again. I'm looking for some very mild trails to take the wife on a ride. I don't want anything too wild. Don't want to freak her out on the first trip. Also, any "TacomaWorld" group get-togethers in the state? Personally, I like the sight-seeing (old man) kinda trails as opposed to the "sink 'em in mud up the windshield" sort of trails. Had enough of that back in the day....

    Open for suggestions.

This trip was a blast! First meet I've been to, then went back this June with most of the same crew. I'm from Murray Ky, live in Waddy and work in Frankfort Ky. These guys are the Tennessee group, and a really great bunch of guys. Will definitely be wheeling with them as much as I can in the future, and would definitely recommend the annual LBL meet to all who can make it there.

When is the annual Land Between the Lakes run? I've been there several times, and would like to go again. Even better if it was a TW group!

First weekend of March if I recall. This year Turkey Bay OHV park was closed due to the heavy snow. We camped down the road and wheeled all the forest roads (see pics in link above for snow wheeling porn).

Well....I guess I'll put it on the schedule for NEXT March.

I recall that snow! We had over 18" here in Bullitt County. Just going to the grocery store was a wheelin' adventure!

I really like fall trips into the woods. Fall is my favorite time of the year. Toss that in with the fact my job demands a lot of my time from March through early august, and fall trips are all I can get in anything longer than a day or two. I'm about an hour north of the Mammoth Cave National Park. A couple of my local buddies and I are working on a "snow run" through some of the fire roads and back roads in that area this coming winter. As you might imagine, it'll be a spur of the moment thing.....Just gotta wait for SNOW!

I'm also hoping some of us from Kentucky can do some sort of TacomaWorld meet up this fall or winter. One of the first things that comes to mind is getting a group together and doing a tour of one (or more) of the distilleries on the Bourbon Trail.

A new off road park just opened up near mammoth cave. I believe some time in September the southern rock racing series is going to the park

Might have to check into that! My grandson goes bananas over the bouncers! I'll have to take him if they're running that close to home!

If any of y'all ever come to LBL, post it up here please. I'm only 30 minutes away. Check out my pic thread and IG in my sig for lots of LBL pics.

I've got family from Murray Ky. We're planning on visiting them in late September or early October. Of course, that visit will include a trip into LBL. I have been in the Turkey Bay ORP years ago. Also rode National Hare Scrambles (dirt bikes) back in the '80's and 90's. We rode an event in Cadiz for a few seasons. Love the area. I'd love to plan some sort of TW "event" at LBL.

I'll have to see if I'm free that weekend. I'm not much for overland as I haul my truck since I tend to break it every trip haha
