Hello, I'm Ashley and this forum is awesome! I am a new owner of a 2008 Toyota Tacoma PreRunner and I must admit I love this truck! I'm very interested in adding a lift to give it some height but I don't know the first thing about any of it. I'm looking for some advice of best brands of suspension lifts for a fair price. Also, opinions on what size tires I would need a after a 3" lift? Any advice would be appreciated!

    Welcome,
You can get away with 31" tires on a 3" lift and not look too bad. Most will say go 33" or taller. So a 285/75/R16 set would be perfect at about 33".

As far as the suspension, well that's a tough call. Most on this forum would say, ICON, Fox, or OME (Old Man Emu) but there are plenty of others. It all depends on what your goals are. Check out the suspension threads for help.
    Good luck with your search!

Welcome! Since you have a Prerunner, consider a spindle lift. Its probably your best bet... Tires: 32's or 33's will work, might rub if you do any hard off roading. I have 33's which I push hard off road and they barely rub. Good luck!
