I am scheduled to have my lift installed on Tuesday. I am very nervous on what to have them do. The package they have coming includes from Toytec 5100, OME 884, 1 1/2 inch block and topspacers. There is also the 1/4 inch spacer for lean. The original plan was to install with Eibach springs but they were back ordered so they subbed the OME 884. I am happy about that as I have read they are not as stiff. I was under the impression that there was going to be an 2in AAL but I did question them about that adding to much height as I only plan to run 32 and don't want it to look out of proportion. This truck is for looks and road use only and very little to no hauling. I want the truck to sit closer to level with slight rake 3/4 to 1 inch tops. My concern is that I was under the impression that I would get 2 1/2 front to 1 1/2 rear to achieve this. With them ordering top spacers and 884 is where I am concerned. Should I get them to put top spacer on driver side and 1/4 on passenger? Would this net me no more then 2 1/2 and work? I have seen ome trucks with just 5100 at 1.75 setting and a 1 inch block and I like that stance with same size tires for what I am after. Thanks for any help you can provide.

I had the 5100s at 1.75 with the toytec eibach coils. Rear AAL and it sat perfect. Was an access cab, but I plan on getting the same one for my DCLB

I would go with 5100's and 884's for the front along with 1/4'' spacer on drivers side. 1.5'' progressive AAL for the rear..

The top spacers they ordered were the ones from toytec that claim 3/4in of lift so I am assuming a 3/8. If I understand it reading though 100's of post the 884 will net me 2 in themselves. As far as the block goes. I know most everyone here talks them down but for just a DD vehicle and no offroading will they work for awhile with no issues? I would look into changing it out next set of tires.

I ran a 1 1/2 inch block on my 2009 and never had a problem. Installed when truck had 3000 miles and just sold it with 341000 miles. It was a daily driver and never off road. Never a problem with the block and truck still was level.

Well thank you all for your help. I got her done today and love it. It rides better than stock and much better then I was expecting. So glad I spent the extra and went with the coils. The rear block I can not say is going to be a bad thing for me or not but I know it rides better in the rear then the one I test drove with the AAL. Let me know your thoughts.

I was always told if your a double cab was to go with the 885's and the 884's were meant more for the access cabs since they weigh less. I'm sure everything will still work okay though and shouldnt be a big deal. You just might not get as much lift in the front is all. Did you take measurements before and after lift was installed?

No tire rub at all. I have now driven it for about 100 miles and it has already settled about a 1/4 inch. I am a little disappointed. I was counting on a solid 2in and hoped for 2 1/4. I am only 1 3/4 higher then before lift. I may be regretting not making them return for 885. However I found that they did not install the 1/4 lean spacer. Drivers side does appear a 1/4 inch low at this time. I am going to confront them and ask to have them install a 1/2 inch spacer on driver side and a 1/4 inch on passenger since I already have the spacers. It should then be 2 1/4 to 2 1/2 inch total. Where I wanted to be. I really do not and can not do UCA. Truck drives great. After the settling and getting stock wheels and tires out of the bed I just have to much rake for my taste. It is right at about 1 3/4 to 2 inches.

Looks great man. Did you do 5100s in the rear also? Or stock?

I would like to get some opions on your thoughts on my lift. I am a bit disappointed in that yes the springs have settled slightly and are netting me about 1 3/4 to 1 7/8 of lift. With the 1 1/2 inch in the back I am sitting at stock rack of 2 inchs. I really wanted this closer to about 1 in. I am considering adding the 1/2 top spacer on the driver side and put 1/4 on passenger side and this should net me about an additional 1/2. With a total lift of 2 1/4 +/- lift. Should this be ok on front end/alignment? Truck drives great right now and worried it would change that. I am also considering dropping from the 1 1/2 block to a 1 in.

Your thoughts and opinions would be great.

From your photo in post #9, I am not seeing any rake at all. If there is any, it seems perfect for when you might actually use your truck as a truck, and load something in the bed. It looks great to me as is. If it drives great now, maybe leave well enough alone and drive it for awhile...

That was right after I picked it up it has settled in the front some. It has a 2 inch rake. It does drive great but it just looks low in the front to me or high in the back. I am worried if I take it up it may sacrifice the ride from current.
