A CENTER FOR ANTS?!

..... I installed some fog housings this afternoon, and spied a second condenser in front my radiator. Can anybody tell me what this is?

I'm told it might be the trans cooler from the factory tow package? 2 things wrong about that, I don't have the tow package, and the tow package wasn't an option for the 2.7 I4 trucks, as far as I recall. It certainly wasn't an option for my truck order specifically.

Any ideas?

I think it's called a supercooler. Kind of a max cooler for larger cabs.
