    I have a 2000 Pre-Runner.

As I look through lift options, I see 1.5, 2.0. 3.0 inch lifts.

Does this mean 1.5, 2, 3 inch over the Pre-Runner lift or is this on top of a stock non 4x4 / pre-runner?

Where does a stock 4x4 / pre-runner sit - does this lift have an measurement (1", 2" 3" or is it considered a non-lifted suspension?)

Last question, with the Pre-Runner, do I still bump up against the 3" ceiling whereby I would have to have a diff-drop and cable / hose reroute?

I am fine with where the Pre-Runner sits, but I want to upgrade the rear leafs and shocks / struts. Keeping it Pre-Runner stock, do I pick components with NO lift or do I need to match the stock lift with the PR?

Do you see what I am asking? Sorry to be so confused!

Your pre runner is at 0" of lift. That is stock height. 3" of lift would/should make it around 3" higher. You would not need a diff drop because you don't have a front diff. If you want to stay at the same height yes you would want stuff that keeps you at stock height/no lift.

There's no "Prerunner Lift" that's stock ride height.

As for a measurement once again stock ride height.

And for the last question if it's a prerunner you don't need any of the front diff. extensions, there's no front diff.

If you want to upgrade the suspension without lifting just get the parts that don't say "lift", you might as well give it a little lift if you're going to replace it though imo...
