First and foremost, let me say.. If im breaking any sort of rules by posting links and such, please just delete my thread and give me a warning. This is my first post and I am very new here, but im excited to be a future Taco owner!!

I just cant wrap my head around some of the pricing i've been seeing lately on these trucks.. Keep in mind im looking for a Tacoma Prerunner v6. Ive been looking for close to a month now and i'm seeing some 2012 models go for higher prices than 2015 models. I know there are Sports, SR5's, ect.. but I see some 2014's with 30k miles selling for cheaper than brand new 2015 ones. Granted, it may be a SR5, but really, whats the big difference here?

Im going to post a few links below. Can someone help me out here?
    My range is around 25/26k.

This first link is a 2013 Prerunner v6 with 44k miles for 26.5k....

This link is to a 2015 SR5 for the same price as the 2013 listed above...

What are the huge differences in SR5 and Sport models? Nothing I see is indictive of a worth of a few thousand dollars that couldnt be added aftermarket for hundreds.. I have seen pricing like this every day for the past two weeks on different trucks.

Could someone give me some insight here please? Im looking to pull this trigger within the next few weeks on one!!

    Thanks again!

If I'm seeing things correctly on your links, I don't see much difference between the two. I can't tell which audio system is in the 2015. You will definitely find these trucks hold their value and it is very common for used ones to be similar in price to new. Welcome to the site!
