Factory Alarm

    Hi guys, I'm new here. As my name states, I have a 2015 TRD off-road Taco. I wanted to have an OEM alarm installed, but my service department showed me their install instructions and it said, "Conflict: Double cab with 4WD, 6MT, and off-road package."

    Does anybody know why this is by chance?

    Indigo Blue 4 door 6spd 07 4x4 TRD Offroad.
    TRD, filter and exhaust system. Red line hood struts, New frame, Truxedo cover, Spyder pro headlights, 3" lift, 17" wheels.
    Not sure if they just don't want to do the job my 07 DCSB 6speed with TRD off road has a factory alarm system installed. I find that quite odd. Call another dealer.

    As stated above call another dealer. My 2011 TRD offroad has a factory alarm installed.

    Did they install it at a dealership or before the truck was built? As far as I know, from my window stickers it says "Theft Deterrent" which I am just assuming is the chip in the key immobilizer.
