I have a '13 Tacoma Off Road. The brake pedal feel seems pretty poor to me. The pedal is soft with very poor feedback. When braking, there is little braking power at first, then it's very touchy when applying more pressure. It almost feels like only the front brakes are working.

Does anyone else have this same feel? Is it normal? I searched the forum for anything similar. Nothing out there.

I'm taking it in to the dealer at the weekend to check it out. Maybe it just needs a bleed or something.

welcome to Tacoma, most over boosted artificial brake feel ever. you'll get used to it in a few thousand miles.

Seems normal to me. I thought the same at first but then again, I came from a small tiny car with a completely different brake feel. You'll get used to it.

Sounds like there's no consistency with pedal feel. I had a '09 TRD OR Pre and the brake pedal feel was lousy at best. Soft and almost to the floor all the time. Never did like it. I traded that in for my '14 TRD OR 4x4 and the pedal is so much better. Good feel, low travel and very firm with brakes doing what they should. I'm very happy with the one I have now.
