Pretty new to the TW family and decided its time to share the story of my
    07' double cab SB.

Worked a couple jobs, saved enough cash in the bank, and decided it was time to get myself some new wheels, love tacomas so why not try to pick one up. I got the truck when i was 19 , and hasn't even been a year since I've had it. Purchased new/used from a toyota dealer not to far down the road. I absolutely love it even though its not TRD and doesn't got all the fancy packages but it works for me! :D Work hard to earn what i got and appreciate it all. Hope you guys like it:cool:

    LET THE STORY BEGIN

The day i signed the papers and brought her on home!

Parked at work the next day

As of now i officially had a tacoma and loved driving it around and showing off my new ride, but a few months had passed by and i decided she needed some new shoes, so seeing as i work at CAMBURG i might as well jump on that:p
So at work i placed the order for some Method 16" NV's and some Terra Grapplers 285/75/R16.They where at the warehouse the next day :D:D

My wheels and tires sat in the warehouse for a few days while i was getting ready to get them mounted and put on, and realized since i often go out to the desert.. might be helpful to at minimum have some better coil overs. Soooo i went ahead and grabbed some of our FRESH CAMBURG 2.5 racerunner coilovers and put myself together our CAMBURG uniball uca kits.
(…..wish i could afford one of our race kits…..maybe soon!)

The next day at lunch break i pulled my truck into the shop. Our main shop mechanic and myself jumped to it and started my nascar pit stop speed parts install :yay:

and BOOM its all put together at the end of lunch!

I then made my way down to the mounting/alignment shop

Some time passed and it was all done! Was stoked and loved the way it looks and pleased with how it sat.

    Messing around

another couple months went by and needed some better tunes, and almost got one but my girlfriend went ahead and bought me a Pioneer AVH-X4500BT stereo for our anniversary:kona::amen:

Now, there is a LOT of silver and grey in my truck.. and i simply got BORED of looking at it being everywhere, sooo i ordered some DI-NOC vinyl wrap to play with and went to town. did the A/C control panel, up by the vents, and various other things around the cab i didn't take pictures of..

Since i go out to the desert often, having enough light at night is a MUST.. and i plan on doing some HID's for the headlights replacing the stock bulbs.. but wanted something a bit more powerful so i ordered myself a 40" LED light bar! It was right around christmas time so i was patient and opened my gift to myself christmas morning

The next week at work i was thinking of a cool spot to put some switches or possibly even a small switch panel with a couple switches…seeing as I'm going to get a couple pods and a 20" amber light bar in the near future. i came up with the idea of a small aluminum panel for 3 rocker switches that fits in the slot of the 3 top row of buttons to the left of the steering wheel on the dash. so indeed thats what i did

i removed the two fake switches and relocated the fog light switch to the lower row of buttons with a little modification to a lower slot. Leaving the upper row empty making it a perfect fit for my new aluminum switch panel

Now that i had my switch panel dialed in and all figured out.. I needed a way to mount that light bar to my roof. So i hit the mig , tube bender and plasma cutter at work during break for a few days and came up with this roof mount.

Lunch break at work once again, my buddy and i did a mockup with the light bar on the roof mount to see how it all fits and turned out great for a first try.

a few days passed and i dropped the roof mount off at a local powder coating shop, and picked it up within 2 days. Got it done in a semi gloss black and IMO it turned out great! stoked

Finally mounted everything together for the last time! think it looks alright:cool:

    TODAYS DATE -6/10/2014

OK so a few months ago while at work i finally ordered some more goodies, a MAGNAFLOW pro series off road exhaust along with an AEM Brute force intake and may i say that i am very , satisfied with the tone that they have provide my beast with :p seriously though it sounds good. As for HP… not enough to notice but it probably lets the motor breath a little better so thats good.

BOTH EXHAUST AND INTAKE ARIVED AT THE SHOP A COUPLE DAYS AFTER THEY WERE ORDERED:bananadance:
