    Thoughts?

F150 is 4 door, 302A package. It is an XLT. Leather seats. Back up camera, Bluetooth, Microsoft sync. Ecoboost or v8, price is roughly 31,230. 23 and 47 miles on different engines.

Do you need a bigger truck? Going 4x4? What is the purpose of trading?

Do it if you need a bigger truck.

Don't do it if you need a midsize truck.

    Pretty straightforward decision.

Both good trucks. My EB motor / transmission is stout as hell. Little cosmetics make it a headache though. Backup cam messed up (warranty), A/c took a shit (warranty), sunroof messed up (warranty). So get the extended warranty .. lol

They still use the Coyote 5.0 right? (famous words "no replacement for displacement" :) )

If you don't mind having a fullsize truck, then I'd definitely go for it. I just rented an F-150 for work and I was once again blown away by how smooth and quiet the ride is.

Love my Taco but it's a harsh riding rattle trap by comparison. Mind you it has 170,000 miles and 3" lift and mud tires -- but still.

How does Ford make their trucks so damn quiet and smooth?

I just got a new 2015. Amazing truck and I'm thrilled with it, but it serves a way different purpose than a Tacoma. Gotta figure out what works for you!

I say do it, they're nice trucks. Unless you do a lot of highway driving, I'd get the 5.0 coyote engine. Real world fuel economy is not that different between the Ecoboost and the 5.0, despite what the window stickers or advertisements claim. The 5.0 doesn't have the complicated engine control system either, naturally aspirated and easier to work on.
