Thinking for my 15 TRD Sport access cab of doing 5100's at 1.75 setting. I want to leave rear stock besides adding 5100's in rear to match for my OCD. Will I need or be smart to do a diff drop?and at 1.75 will my front be level? I dred nose high so hope so. Worse case I set to .85".

However, if I leave 1.75 what is my minimal lift for rear to make level yet back taller for stance. 1-1.5" lift block work? Never tow or need bed capacity as there's an F250 diesel in driveway so. Mainly DD good lookin street rig.

I have TRD 16" bead lock wheels coming and doing BFG KO2 265/75-16 tires coming. I like the size. Don't need bigger. Want level or slight taller but even as low as I can for tire size to clear no rubbing

I have mine at 1.75 with no diff drop, and never would put one in. 2nd gens have no need for them.

Thanks for replays that's my last missing link. On my 97 4Runner it is a need so I asked.

So will 1.75 work. I see post above days .85 but no context.

If I assemble at 1.75 and nose is high. I know me. I will end up doing 1" in rear so. Will .85 leave me a hair of rake and clear 265/75-16's fine?

    No mods whatsoever!
From what I've seen, 1.75 will be faily close to level and .85 will still give you some rake. Not sure about the tires.

What part of NY? I've goy family in the Catskill/Albany area.

Yes, you'll be fine with 265/75/16's if you do that, it will probably just ride a little stiff though. Old man emu 884 coil springs with a progressive add a leaf in the rear might be a more comfortable option, that is if you don't like how stiff the stock springs ride on 1.75 with the bilsteins

At 1.75 I did need a front diff ecgs bushing to get rid of diff vibes... But that can happen at any sort of lift.

I love the ride the stock TRD or coils proved at 1.75, and my 265/75r16 hankook dynapros have no issues with rub

From what I've seen 1.75" will start off level on new trucks and then as the rear leafs sag you eventually have a bit of bro lift going on. On an older truck you may not get the desired results. I'd just do it at 1.75" and if you don't like the look take it down to 0.85".

Oh and on the second gens the diff drop kit actually rotates the front diff rather than lowering it, which causes more problems then it solves.

I think with a 06 you will be nose high with 1.75" and if you put anything in the bed then you definitely will be. I'd go .85 and you may have a little rake but not much.

Appreciate all the input. Sorry I need to update profile as I said in OP this is going on a new 15 access cab TRD SPORT. Few posts seemed to refer to my old 06. My fault.

I do really plan to leave stock alone. I don't want to do an add a leaf. And prefer not changing blocks at all. I know easy but with 265/75-16 as desired I figure low as possible to keep driving best it can. Maybe it will make sense to go .85 setting I preffer a hair of rake if anything in event we use the bed. I'll have to measure 10 more times to be sure.

If you want to go this route and not add a leaf to the rear, I suggest this, buy the 5100's, leave the front ones that are adjustable on the base setting, get the toytec/eibach springs witch provide 1.6 inches of lift on their own, and you'll need the 1/4 inch top plate spacer for the driver side, just get regular 5100's for the rear. Also get UCA's because any lift seems to make these trucks unalienable in my personal experience. Or, you can go the OME route and get nitrocharger shocks all around with 884 springs for the front with the trim packer and you'll be good. Again, the 884's will provide better ride quality than the eibachs. For the eibach setup, check my gallery out, it looked good but my particular truck got vibes so its at stock height again lol

If you have the TSB AAL you will be near level at 1.75" because that's the setup I was just running on my 2010 AC. If you don't you will have a tad bit of bro lean at 1.75" so I'd recommend .85" as it will be closer to level with a bias towards rake.

This is 1.75 with 265/70/17, 120k miles on the stock rear leafs. Sits pretty level (within .25"). If you still want some rake definitely go .85 or add 1-1.5" to the rear.

...almost forgot, here's a pic with mine when I had that setup on 265/75/16's for reference:

    20140410_145414_640e39b8062b17607c9e0ecf43d6e0c9233c3f7b.jpg

This picture was taken shortly after the TSB AAL was done so it settled ever so slightly and was pretty close to level once things worked out.

Thanks again for the help. Got mine DONE and could not be any happier. Came out perfect and drives awesome. Left rear end stock. Did bilstein 5100's all around. Set front at .85" (second clip from bottom). TRD wheels with 265/75-16 BFG AT2.
