anyone run some chevy 63" leaf springs on their trucks? mainly 01-04?

what length shackle are you using? did you relocate the rear shackle hanger or are you using a double shackle?

Any driveline mods needed? stock shaft work with the amount of travel gained?

Where are you bumping the compression travel at? right when the spring is flat, or can these springs go negative a bit without issue?

how are they on the road, and on the trail? I've read tons of threads on TTORA, Pirate4x4 etc but most of that info is what year truck to get the springs from and where to weld the new hangers.

are you getting hung up and dragging leaf springs/shackles while off road? i will be around A Lot of rocks, boulders and tree roots to get hung up on, but i usually manage to drag something regardless of how low it hangs or how high its tucked up under the truck. haha

I can get the springs for free, and making the shackles, hangers and shock tabs are no biggie, so this may be a bit more work, but would save me a few hundred dollars as shocks would be the biggest expense.
