In California we live on a goat trail that has to be "Brushed" every-once-in-a-while, if not the trail gets so "ripped" it will shake one apart.. Question,, I pull the "Broom" behind my Tacoma, I must use 4wd as it can get pretty soft. At both ends of the trail I must make some pretty sharp (tight) turns, although I go very slow, are these tight turns going to hurt my driveline? In MN I only use the 4x4 in snowy conditions & never worried about it. Thanks

If you don't feel any binding your turning radius is probably large enough to be no big deal , alternately to can switch out of 4HI for the corners if that's an option

turning on dirt, no problem whatsoever

turning on pavement, do it slowly, just above idle speeds...no problem

    -----------------------------------------------------------
that rig is neat...I use a section of chain-link fence 8 feet wide, 15 feet long, with angle iron on both ends
to mow down springtime mud caverns on my trail up to me cabin

Thanks for taking the time to post! Yes, the "Broom" works well, I like your idea as well, I have some old chain link fence I just might try it,

If there is much concern with turning in 4 wheel drive I normally will turn but try to not go to full lock in either direction.

Here we would call that a DRAG. 4 H = 4high you should be alright. But imo from my adventure time, if you can place it back in 2 do so, till ya need 4 again. I usually use 4H instead of 4L. 4L I was informed is meant for low speed and if not used correctly could damage the truck. 4H covers low an high speeds. I also have used my winch. A good friend said go in 2 wheeldrive till you need 4x4 then back your A$$ up an find another way.
