The 1st start of my truck always dies after I disconnect my battery... After that the second time I start up everything is fine. Why is this and does this happened to any other 2nd gens?

Yep, happens to me on my '12. No issues after that first time though.

If the ECU is being cleared of memory and the truck dies is that because the truck is no longer preforming to OEM standards? after the 1st fail is it spiting more air or gas to get the truck ruining?

No its just part of clearing after first start. The truck isn't starting out of spec or anything.

I had a GM ECM "learning system" on a past chebbie outfit - and it would "re-adjust" based on the worst tank of gas (low octane). So it would slowly de-tune itself down and down trying to accommodate junk gas. But it wasn't smart enough to power itself back up when the ghetto gas was done and something better was available. Finally took to running a bottle of Techron through it every month or so - and disconnecting the battery to make it re-start the learning process.

I suppose the programming wizards at Taco central did that sort of number on these outfits as well......... does anyone "re-set" their trucks for a similar reason and get good results?
