How do I wire a amp to factory head unit?

    Hello I have a 600 Watt amp and I wanna install it in my tacoma is there a way i can install it with out halfing to buy a different deck and dash kit?

    The main concept is that you need to convert the speaker wire signal into an RCA signal. YOu just connect the converter to your stock speaker wires at any point along the wire and then run a set of RCA's from there to the Amp. The only other wire is the remote power wire. THis just needs to be connected to a switched power source that only turns on when the key is in ACC or ON positions.
