I have the super charger but when I intall a throttle body spacer I get a lean bank 1 engine code. Not sure why this is happening. Before the super charger no code. With the supercharger there is a code. I pulled all the spark plugs and none of them are running lean. It does however have a little more throttle response it seems with it on. Does anyone have an idea why this may be happening?

Do you still have the OEM headers and Y-pipe

Only thing I can think of is an air leak around the spacer. That would be the only reason.

That's what I was thinking but I sprayed some cleaner around it and no change in engine speed.

Yeas I still have the stock headers and y pipe. That's my next upgrade. Still trying to decide which brand to go with.

You have either a vacuum leak some where, or an exhaust leak. My money is on the vacuum leak. If you take pictures of your engine bay, from multiple angles, we all could help you better.

OK so i sprayed some carb cleaner around and the only sp0t that it affected was when I sprayed around the bypass valve diaphragm. it died... i don't know if that's normal or not so I just went ahead and purchased a new one as it wasn't replaced with the rebuild and I have no idea the age or miles that are on it. I/ll take some pictures today and post them up see if that helps you guys at all.

    There you go.

What about the nipple next to it where the vacuum/boost reference is used? Don't know if you have a gauge attached or of the vacuum cap is leaking?

Why would it only throw a code with the spacer attached though?

Can't say specifically without physically looking at your engine. Or at least pictures or video.

The ecoblock put your LTFT closer to his limit (before an error code), so maybe any air flow problem related can push you over the limit.

    What was the problem exactly?

The seal on the bypass valve was leaking air. Still haven't seen the check engine light come on since replacement. The problem stemmed from the throttle body spacer. With it on it would throw a code. With it off no code would show up.

That is very strange how that spacer showed there was a problem. Kind of cool, since now your engine runs better and makes more power.
