    Hi!

Just finished a 2nd gen supercharger install on my 1999 5VZ-FE. 4wd won't engage. This little guy was once connected to the front of the upper intake manifold (above the rad fan) and now he's hanging out all alone.

My understanding is that this is the one way check valve for the Automatic Differential Disconnect (ADD) that allows air into the ADD solenoid, but not back out. Somehow it needs to be pressurized by the supercharger intake plenum.

Does anyone know where this needs to be spliced in to the vacuum lines on a 2nd gen supercharged setup?

Does anyone know if this is supposed to be vacuum or pressure? I would assume since it's connected to the front of the upper intake manifold that it must be pressure?

and FWIW that location on the front of the upper plenum is vaccum (and boost also in your application). Anything behind the throttle body plate is vacuum. So really any vacuum line you could tee into. But @1997tacomav6 has it right.
