Talk to me about headlights...

Specifically for my Silver 2015 SR5 4x4

I'm considering changing out the chrome grill for a body color grill. I think a tinted set of head lights would look better with the painted grill. Since the lights have chrome as part of the units.

Are there OEM tinted or painted lights I can purchase?

 

Many folks on TacomaWorld do the "BHM" or Black Headlight Mod. I'd love to do it with mine but it involves placing your headlight assembly in the oven for a while. Not sure if I'm up to the task.

As I understand it you take the headlamp assembly apart and spray paint the chrome portions black. Then reassemble. I think there's a guide on the forums some place.

That or you can purchase custom headlamps online.

 

Factory SR model headlights are smoked.
