I bought a '15 AC/OR in Dec. '14. I stumbled upon TW shortly thereafter, and within a couple of months I ordered up Bilstein 6112s for the front, and Dakars/Icon 2.0 for the rear. My goal was to go for a moderate lift in keeping with my intended use and desire to minimize driveline issues.

The local off road shop wanted $400 for the install. I figured I would spend that money on tools and do it myself. I did many hours of research, watched install videos several times while taking notes, and made plans to join a bunch of guys at Manwithoutaplan's Covina Mod Day. After all, I had never turned a wrench on a vehicle in my life.

    Covina Mod Day cancelled! Crap!!

I'm not good at waiting, so I rolled out my shiny new floor jack and got after it. Removing the UCA through bolt was tough. I bent the crap out of the inner fender and still had to trim a little off of the nut shoulder with a Dremmel. Got the new Light Racing UCAs mounted up, and used the floor jack method to remove the old springs and install the new 6112s set on the 4th groove up. Even though I had adjusted the UCA all the way in, I still had at least 5* positive camber. Time for an alignment.
2.5 hours later, the best they can do is still 2.6* pos camber. A phone call to SPC and I had a diagnosis. I installed the caster adjustment plate 180* backwards. THE FLAT SIDE FACES THE TIRE!! Two more hours to re-align and I'm out the door with good numbers and a hell of a bro lean. Sorry...no pics.

Next day, the Dakars with 3rd leaf removed went on together with the Icons. Easier than the front, but plenty of huffing and puffing to wrangle the packs into place.

Final results: pride of accomplishment, a nice set of tools, 2.6 inches up front, a couple out back, and a very nice ride with no vibes so far.

Many thanks to all who help a newbie like me get this done.IMG_0133.jpg

Can't wait to see it in person. Solid truck. When I redo my suspension I may be looking to go the direction you did.
