Very cool!! On the last page there is someone looking for exactly your same set up. Have you had any problems with the steering bushings from the added weight??

Haven't noticed anything yet. 5000 miles since the swap so far.

How much did the ride height change in the front with the spring change, If any. Or is it just a stiffer spring to hold the extra weight.
Your truck has a nice stance as it sits. Looks real good

The added weight dropped the front about 3/8". The new coils just bring the truck back to the original height. No added height. Also, the stiffer springs help with braking and cornering. No more nose diving or roll from the heavy front

If they do I guess Toyota doesn't or won't just sell the bushings. Wheelers has them I believe. ...just in case you need them.

Was considering the 1/4" ones. Was going to wait and see how I liked the stance first

Ok... diving into my shoddy ride in the rear...

Well I crawled under my truck today since the weather was nice and noticed a few things. My leaf springs are sitting strange. They're almost warped looking. The passenger side one has more of a warp then the drivers side. Then looking at the shocks, the passenger side one looked fine, the boot of the drivers side had grease/oil on it like its leaking? Also the shock mount bushing looks dry rotted... Truck has 24800 on it now.

Have you seen the TSB rear leaf spring. I did mine prior to my lift cause my springs were like that and inverted when I had a lil weight in the bed.

The tsb is for the 3 pack to add the 4th spring.

I don't have a Baja but I did use to live where this picture was taken. The house is off to the right.

(Mod please delete if you deem this as a useless comment, just thought it was cool.)

Anyone have an easy way of removing the center caps off of our wheels without taking the wheel off? I've tried a screwdriver but it just ended up scratching the wheel and cap. Even tried suction cups to pull it. Did a search and saw where a guys center caps glue came apart. Thanks.

Only way to do it is the wheel off the truck.

Yep, wheel off and pop it out from backside.

No need to remove the wheel.......I have a set of tools similar to picks or dental tools . I slid the point in between the wheel and center cap and pulled it up a bit and then used a very small screwdriver to pry it loose . I switched my center caps in a matter of 5 minutes and didn't scratch a thing .
