Was wondering if anyone has used this product before on their headlights.

I'm interested in protecting the headlights from UV yellowing in my SR for as long as I can as they aren't cheap. Since this is said to be the best UV protectant on the market I thoughtI would give it a shot.

    Thoughts?

How do the headlights look afterwards? Some places on the internet say it can streak or leave the plastic hazy while others say everything's kosher.

    Thanks again for your response.

I usually wax my headlights to protect them.

No streaking that I've ever noticed , I use it on all the exterior plastic and rubber plus the headlights , tail lights and tires

I plan to do that as well to prevent sand blasting and the like. Here in CT they use a lot of sand in the winter so a good wax will do well to prevent that. However most waxes aren't great at UV protection, which causes the ugly yellow headlight condition. So I figured the 303 might do well to bulk up the UV protection factor.

Satoshi, debadged, rear view mirror bracket, tail gate hose clamps, trimmed mud flaps.
I use it on head and taillights too. The trick is not to let it dry and wipe completely off before it drys.

X2 on this. I'm sure the 303 will work great but I've always waxed my headlights and never had headlight fading, yellowing issues

I tried 303 on my wife's headlights today and it worked nicely. Made the headlights look nice and no streaking or anything. Now a nice coat of wax and all will be well :)

Won't the applying of the wax just remove the 303? Just washing convertible tops and tonneau covers will remove it after a couple of times, even using mild automotive soap...............

Best protection for headlights hands down is paint protection film. You can buy the pre cuts online but from experience the tacoma headlights are not such a straightforward install. requires some stretching and knowledge how the material works. So better off finding a local installer who uses Xpel (the design software is spot on - fits the piece exactly as you need). Just the headlights alone is probably $100 max
