Will these work if I turn the collar all the way down to take the extra preload off the spring? I'm wondering where the Toytecs get their lift from, is it from preload or is the entire coilover assembly slightly longer than factory shocks? I would like to use them but dont want the 6" lift to turn in to an 8.5" lift.

I already have the Toytec coilovers with bilstein 5100 shocks that come preset to about 2.5" by toytec. I will be picking up my 6" BDS kit along with OME Dakars and 35" tires tomorrow and will be starting to install it next weekend, this gives me time to think about how I want to set this up.

    I have two options:

If possible, I turn down the collar on the Toytec coilovers and install the toytecs on to the included BDS spacer. Sell my factory shocks with spacers and rear leafs with AAL and make back some money.

    OR

Run the factory shocks with the included BDS spacer, and sell the Toytecs along with my rear leafs with AAL and make back more money.

I say you should sell the toytec Coilovers and install it with the stock struts and save up for some 6" lift Coilovers

Ok so I was doing some thinking and realized something. The BDS kit is designed for factory leafs. I am using OME Dakars that give you around 2" of lift so I dont think I will have any issues with the setup using the Toytec coilovers because they're adjustable from 1-3" I think its safe to say that with this kit, the Dakars and the Toytec coilovers I will have around 8" of lift over stock. Add to that 2" from the 35's over stock and you have 10"
