I have a slight chance of getting in the fab shop this weekend, but might have to be after their vacay.

I rub my current 12.5"s and I'm not trying those new grappa yet

    Just not clear enough..

HA. If there was a bj style LT kit on the market I'd buy it in a heart beat. Wish you western guys knew what mud, rain, snow, and salt does to heims...eastern mountain climate sucks :(

A few audio upgrades, tinted windows, remote start because it f'n hot in Texas! 6in Fabtech DB lift, 17x9 Fuel Trophy wheels, 315/70/17 Duratracs,BAMF 80in sliders w/kickout, Prinsu cab rack w/30in Heretic light bar, custom bedside decals, custom hi-lift jack brackets, US Offroad front bumper w/winch, bed rack with RTT, CB, Short wave base station, Ultra gauge, color matched grille surround, an ungodly amount of recover gear, ARB fridge, hood struts, RotoPax, traction pads.
I thought about the Tundra for a while. I could get it for the same price as the Tacoma. The fuel mileage isn't much different but it's the size that gets me. I don't needed a full size truck for anything that I do. The Taco does everything I need and then some while still being manageable in the parking lots. I'm happy with my choice but to each there own.

Noticed a howling noise the last few weeks between 40 to 50mph. Goes away when I swerve to the left, I figured out yesterday. Looks like the passenger side wheel bearing will be replaced soon. Not too bad at 98K miles. The driver side bearing went out at 70K miles.....same noise & it went away while swerving to the right.

Considering the wheel weight, wheel spacers & wheel offset, I'm surprised they lasted that long.

Just got my 6" BDS lift yesterday along with rear OME Dakar leaf packs and a set of Toyo AT2 Extreme tires. I will be doing the lift starting next friday and will have pics to follow shortly after that. So stoked! Cant wait!

I think the OME leafs give you around 2" So seeing that the kit is designed for a stock Tacoma, I'm assuming its safe to say I will have an 8" lift in total. I have toytec coilovers up front as well that I can use to compensate for the extra lift at the back.

IMO the back of the truck now looks really high? what do y'all think
im considering getting a 2" block instead of the 3" i have now

Not overly high. I think it looks good but I'm kinda partial to the look of having the back sit higher. It also makes the truck look normal with weight in the box. I'd leave it as is.
How do you like the blocks? Are you getting any axle wrap? I am considering ditching the blocks since I'm using OME dakars and just going with a inverted shackle to make up what the blocks would give me in height.
