Nice pics as always man:cool: I applaud you for showing off the pinstrips haha! I do the same thing when I take pics and then start looking over all the scratches on my truck... I feel bad for a little bit, but then I continue on wearing them proud! Will you be in Moab this year? Figured we'd get another chance to meet now that I'll be closer to your neck of the woods (orr...rocks ;))

Hopefully we can meet up on my road trip so I can finally see this truck in person and explore some of the trails that you find on these trips. I might want to get a set of those DOT fogs aswell, seems everyone loves them.

Love your truck by the way.

I wonder if those accessory bars could be mounted on the inside?

I like this tire a lot and when I was looking to buy a new set recently I considered these but they were hard to find. So with that I went a different route. I just didn't want to take a chance on needing a tire and having trouble finding one. I went with the Cooper ST Maxx. Very similar.

    Check the build thread.
You would have to install the weld nut inserts to the inside and then they would likely work that way no problem.

This tire just came out, in fact that photo was taken just days after they were officially released. They are still rolling out different sizes as well. Serious best damn tread pattern I have run for street and offroad use. These will be my go-to tire for a long time.

I found some throwback photos of the 55" CVT awning opened up on the rear

After shooting this photo I realized my 20" Rigid SR in the grille is angled up a bit too high and the 20" SR Amber could be tilted up slightly also — time to adjust!

Rigid Industries RockLights are probably one of my most used lights because I always have them on while at camp as well. I just installed these on my trailer and can't wait to get out with it in a couple weeks to test them out!

One of today's projects is getting the wiring done for the 40" SR under my roofrack.

For awhile I ran it down the windshield (ghetto) because I wasn't looking forward to taking the rack off in order to get the hole drilled through the cab... Well I finally scratched that all together and decided to run the wires through the 3rd brake light instead.

So starting with the engine bay. Hooked it up to the sPOD Source Unit, through the firewall, up the dash (reran with the sPOD and BullyDog cables) and here we are.

    image.jpg

Then I fed the wires on the opposite side of the airbags all the way to the back.

    image.jpg

Now its time to move the shell back to access the 3rd brake light to get this job done finally.

This looks so freaking sweet! I want to buy some for my truck. Can you post a pic of your fuse block for all your light setups? Need some ideas of how to wire up all of my future components.

Hey Thomas, I run all the wiring through the sPOD Source unit with touchscreen switch control inside.

I just posted a new thread with a few photos on it here:
    bit.ly/defconbrix_interiorthread

Check out sPOD's website though and that's the only way you will want to wire things in the future :D

    Flare Trimming Kit.

    image.jpg

For those not following along on IG, I picked up a set of Bushwacker pocket flares.

All trimmed and mounted. Now doing the finishing touches. Sanding/smoothing the cuts then wrapping it up with some edging.
