Hello all I just picked up my new to me Tacoma. Its a 2009 trd sport long bed with 35k miles. The long bed was the selling point for me as i was originally looking for a full size truck. I currently own a 2003 Ford Sport Trac. The bed size on that was something i always hated. Anyways back to the tacoma. I have a long list of things I would like to do to it. Some simpler things such as putting on a brake controller and the tow mirrors but also some bigger things such as the ome lift with bigger tires. I like the ome lift because it has the option for the heavy coils up front and the dakar leafs out back with the HD leaf. I am planning on putting an arb bumper up front which is why id like the heavy coil option up front. Id need the hd leaf for the dakar leaf pack because i tow almost every weekend in the summer. I also find myself hauling a bunch of random stuff usually pretty big logs while I'm on my friends farm. As far as tires go with this lift i was thinking 285/70r17 goodyear duratracs. Would these fit alright with little to no trimming? Id be fine trimming some but need to keep it unnoticeable from the outside. Thanks in advance for all the help. I'm looking forward to having this truck for hopefully the next 10+ years.

Tacoma is stock and staying that way, Pickup is TBA as of now.
Nice looking ride! You definitely need to upgrade the rear springs if it hasn't been done already, they are weak af and wont hold up to anything heavier than 400# without sagging to the bumpstops. If it doesn't have it already, I suggest a bigger transmission cooler for towing as well.

Thanks! Both my dad and I noticed how soft the leafs were when picking it up. I'll hopefully solve that problem with the dakar leaf pack which I'm planning on doing this summer.

haha don't hate on the sport trac too much. It always did what i asked it to do.....not always extremely happy about it though. It was my first vehicle so i couldnt complain too much. I had my fun with it and had it set up pretty well for what i do. The picture is from last summer but not much has changed on it since then. Behind it is the real toy a ski nautique. One of the best parts about the tacoma is it matches the boat a lot better. And i can now fit my water ski in the bed without putting it at some weird angle.

Thanks guys! I had a 7.5hr drive each way to pick it up and loved every second of the drive back. Oh and the 20mpg vs my current 13-14 was a great change.
