Take off the mud flap -- that helps with the rubbing :D i had to do that with mine along trimming the inside.

looks much better without the mudflaps imo. and since you have step bars, you wont have to worry about flying rocks (like me )

16" Moto Metal 951 black 265/75 Pro Comp A/T, chrome tube step, wet okole seat cover weathertech digital mats, sockmoney TRD Oahu decal. AWEsome!
Hey I just up sized too. I now have moto metal 951 black with a set of 265/75/16 A/T Pro Comps. I was wondering if you had to cahnge the rack and pinion so it wouldn't vibrate at freeway speeds? The guy at the shop adjusted mine but I hate how it steers now. At a full turn it won't automatically come back. Has anyone heard of this?

I had to remove front mud flaps and cut some of the plastic off the front in order to avoid rubbing.

    None, yet
One poster said backspacing which makes the tires "stick out" helps with rubbing issues. Incorrect when dealing with 265/75/16 or 265/70/17 tires. It will cause mud flap and possibly wheel well rubbing with these sizes. The offset or spacers is required to keep 285's from rubbing on the UCA's, but is actually part of the reason bigger tires rub the flaps/wheel wells.

I know from experience with 265/70 R17 with only half tread left on Eagle Alloy's that put the tires out 1+ inches. Even worn they rub the flaps severely.
Look at your tires, imagine them sticking out an additional inch, and follow the new arc they'll travel as the steering wheel is turned. Oh yeah, look! They hit the mud flap! I've learned to take EVERY post here with a grain of salt....

Thanks! The ride seems a tiny bit stiffer.....I dunno, maybe it's my imagination. But they drive straight and don't seem to track the grooves / ruts any different than the Dunlops did. They balanced out nicely, I have no problems there. They have just a little hum at speeds over 35, but nothing bad at all considering the aggressive tread pattern. I'm happy with them so far.

hahahah ---wish i could lift my truck but as it is, it barely fits into my garage. The noise drove me crazy hence i took the mud flap off and much prefer without it as it shows my wheels off!:D
