First post, 20-year Tacoma owner here.

Because of the Toyota frame-rust warranty buy out, a few years ago I was able to own my first paid-off Taco with less that 100K on it. So I've slowly been fixing it up with goodies and it's gone great, but I've come upon a question concerning wheels and UCAs that's got me stumped. I can't seem to find answers or documentation anywhere!

A couple of years ago, I dumped the factory alloys for 15x8 Ultra Motorsports Rogue wheels with a 3.75" backspace and adjustable Bilstein 5100s cranked all the way up to ~2.5" lift. I put the same tires I've loved for years on - 31x10.5 Bridgestone Dueler AT Revos.

Problems: First off, with the lift, they looked too small. Second is that the setup was squirrelly as hell on the highway. Third is that they wore horribly and the drive was like crap within no time. Revos don't come in a 33 for a 15 inch rim, so a new tire model was in order, as well as looking at UCAs to fix the wear and squirrelly problems.

A couple of weeks ago I replaced all four tires with 33x10.5 R15 BFG AT TA KOs. I like them a lot and as-is, the ride is tons better (not near as hard as the smaller Revos). Now I want to protect them and improve the squirrelly alignment issues.

What I've found is that if any manufacturer notes wheel size for their UCAs, it's 16 or 17. There are no references to 15" wheels. I'm not sure I get it, as the UCAs don't come any where near the wheels!

    Camburg - 16x8 or 17x8
Icon - 16" or larger with 5" max back space
    Light Racing - No specs
    Total Chaos - No specs.

I want to know what UCA I can use. I'd like to go as good as possible, and I don't want to buy and return. What is the real story on this? With the OEM UCA and current tire/wheel setup, the UCA's joint is at least a good 1.5" from the tire, and no where near the wheel.

OK, Nevermind. Yota Dan at Wheeler's fixed me up.
