A little over two years ago, I came on here asking for prayers and good vibes for my daughter who was having some issues with passing out and seizures. Ive got to say I had a lot of messages and well wishes and I couldnt have been more thankful. Well, sadly I am back to ask again. But this time its a whole new deal.

A little backstory. A few weeks ago, my daughter started to complain about a lot of aches and pains and was complaining that she was tired all the time. Not normal for a three year old. My wife and I just thought she was going through some growing pains and did what we could to help her along. This went on for several days and when she began to wake up crying in the middle of the night due to pains we knew there was more to it. Fast forward to this past Friday. My wife takes her to the doctor and after talking to my daughter he decides to run some blood work. We get a call on Saturday morning saying that she tested positive for mono. But he could not be sure on if it was an active case or a dormant case that was still in her body. Fast forward to today. My wife gets a call at work from the doctor saying that he wants to run some more blood work/tests because there is something not quite right. He didnt sound overly concerned but one of the tests that is being done is to test for leukemia. We wont know any of the results until later in the week.

So, Tacomaworld, if you read these sorta things, I ask that when you bow your heads tonight that you say a quick little prayer for my kiddo. Even if you don't pray, any good vibes are appreciated! Thank you!

    ********UPDATE*********

Today we got the call from the doctor we have been waiting for. The diagnosis came back as being mono but he is still a little concerned so we have to keep a daily chart on any pains or complaints that she may have. He wants to see her again in 30 days to run some more blood work but right now, we are treating it as strictly as mono. Ill keep this post updated as this continues. Thank you again for all your messages and thoughts and prayers.
