I bought some ome 884 coils for my 08 double cab with bilstein 5100 shocks. I plan on running them at no lift with these coils. Should I bother ordering the top plate spacer for the drivers side lean? How many of you went this way or didn't bother. If you didn't how much of a difference is there from drivers side to passenger? Thanks

Bilstein 5100's on all four corners. Front set @ 0 with OME 883x coils. Alcon leaf springs. Viper Alarm. Wet Okole seat covers. WeatherTech Floor liners front and back. Oem Toyota chrome exhaust tip. ARE Shell. America Outlaw Wheels.
I have the 5100 / 883 without and I wish I would have gone with it . With a full tank of gas there is a 1/4 in. difference.

I have it w/ stock Offroad coils, and 5100's. Mine is still like 1/8" lower than the passenger's side. Not visually perceptible though. Much better than without it.

I had to run a spacer with 883's/Nitrochargers - even with the OME packer already installed. Now it's balls-on even.

yup i run it on my driver side with stock TRD OR coils with 5100's at 1.75in ... still some lean, I might move to a 3/8ths spacer

And no the coils are not swapped sides. I had a good 5/8ths of an inch of lean stock.

Hey, since the coil is going to be off anyways, I'd definitely recommend getting longer stud bolts put in at that time. You can fit a 1/4" spacer on the stock studs... but it's close. Really close.

FYI if you get some standard nuts and washers you could probably do a full half inch spacer on the stock studs. The factory 3 top nuts have a weird collar on them that is 1/4in long before threads.

Damn. So is it crucial that I buy the longer studs? Or do most of you use the stock studs and nuts? I'm only going to go with the 1/4" spacer.

Reeeeeallllyyyyyy close. But it works. And I'm using the 1/4" driver spacer with the 5100/884 combo. Driver side is 1/8" lower. Not noticeable.

Give toytec a call. Tell them what you have and what you want to achieve. They will give you all the right information. I am using part# tp14 1/4 inch spacer on passenger side and 25912 1/2 inch spacer on driver side with 5100's set at .85 and stock coils. The ride is great and leveled it out. Db Cb preruner. Hope this helps. PS spacers and studs $77.41 shipped from toytec.
