Replacing Antenna

    I was curious if there is a way just to drill out my broken antenna and screw in an aftermarket. Or do I need to replace the whole antenna unit. Attached is unit view from the top.ImageUploadedByTapatalk1414016539.364037.jpg

    You can get it out. You need a set of Easy Outs and select the appropriate size. You can find them at hardware or home improvement stores. Essentially, you drill a slightly undersized hole for the size Easy Out you're going to use. Insert the Easy Out and back out the broken stud. Mine broke in an automatic car wash and that's how I got mine to back out. Took all of 15 minutes.

    Did this work?!! I broke mine off in the car wash as well and I can't figure out how to get the dang thing out!
