    Hi guys.
Now that have found a place near my home ( Montreal) that will sell me Bilstein 5100 i was very pleased to finally find a dealer .
Though the warrenty is three years,or 60 thousands kilometers.
    I do about 8 thousand max a year,,,lololololo
So i find strange that a good companie like that offers only that short time warrenty, while others will offer life warrenty of the truck..
So now i do have second thoughts if i should go with local ones such as Monroes,or KYB..
    Thanks for the replys!

    KYB
Though lots of members don t have very good comments on them after a year or so,they get soft, etc etc.
    Unless i am mistaken.

    Intake, exhaust, lift. Typical stuff.
Bilstein 5100's are sold by RCD. They offer an unlimited lifetime warranty regardless where you buy them. As long as you dont really f up the shock and there are no signs of abuse, warranty should hold. Just did my front shocks. It took almost a month but got brand new shocks.

They require you to be the original owner and ask for a receipt.

In the world I came from (sports cars, SCCA, etc.) Monroes would be used on a high mile Corolla you were fixing to sell. KYBs were good for modest performance for a year or so.

Maybe the truck world is different. Or not.

Of the 3 choices you suggest, yes. I can't speak to the fact if you need shocks or if they will meet what your requirements are for function. You don't tell us what you are trying to accomplish.

I do think the suspension forum may be a better place to poke around, rather than just the general 2nd gen forum where you are now.

    Thanks for the tip Bill.
I ll search the suspension forum.
I don t really do off road stuff, lots of ice fishing in the winter.
Though,if i need to put something heavy in the back,i want it to be strong, and perform well and steady.
I Just can t stand those original shocks that at every bump shakes for a few seconds,,lololo
