Ohhh so you're saying I can keep the lift with the taller 882 spring, yet make the ride smoother because the spring rate. Correct?

The 882 coil will give you a bit more lift and handle your tube bumper nicely. It will be smoother than the 883 because it has a lessened spring rate.

    ...so yes ahah

Sorry one more if I do the 882s and everything with my tube/v6 combo will my allignment be okay or would it be important to get LR UCAs? I know it always better with the UCAs but I think it's more of an issue with the bilstein 5100s... Any input?

With lift, your alignment is going to be out if you dont get UCA's.

I personally do not think they are 100% necessary.

Okay, I heard they help with alignment, travel, and possible vibration reduction. If that's the case then maybe I should spend $350 extra on them and knock it all out in one purchase... Just need to decide between the OME Kit w/ 882s or the Bilstein 5100 kit with 3" Eibachs... Both will have front coils, rear shocks, and 2" toytec AALs to level the back... Better than blocks I suppose. Just so hard to decide because I've heard great things about both... Overall heard the OME is a better ride offroad, but sags faster and the 5100s are good, not fantastic, but good and hold up well. If the ride is the same offroad then I'll get the 5100s, but if the 5100s won't ride as smooth, or close to as smooth, as the emus than I guess I'll stick with he emu setup. Just thinkin out loud if there's anything I misinterpreted from the threads between the two let me know, but so far that's where I'm at and that's my dilemma

All true, just get the UCA's lol.

Im bias towards the OME but maybe other people will chime in on their opinions.

I think a lot of people go OME... and those with the 5100s are happy, but never tried OME. I know some switch to OME, but idk about switch to 5100s... Which makes me also want to bank on the OMEs. I haven't tried either so I base my decision solely off of other people's inputs haha

Okay so yet another question if you don't mind.... and anyone else chime in if you can,,, If i choose the OME with the 882 coils, i really really don't want to dump money on dakar leaf springs. i don't tow, fuck, i don't even have a hitch, i just use the bed on occasion for average lightweight stuff. Occasionally kinda heavy stuff, but not a whole lot. i guess the dakars are great.... but under a load of weight. if I'm just daily driving and occasionally offroading with an almost always empty bed, will an AAL be okay? i know blocks are terrible, but i don't want a whole new rack of leafs. seems like a lot of money for not much of a benefit for me, personally because i don't haul. If the AALs are gonna be okay, should i get the 2" or 1.5" with my 3" lift? any input is great!

Lol! I agree with delta, get the uca's! I'm sure you wouldn't ever regret getting them.

I've heard the dakars are similar in feel to a stock pack with an AAL. If you don't haul much of anything you pry outta just get the AAL...oh and I'd get the 2" myself, I'm sure your stock pack has sagged at least a little bit.

Oh on another note I wasn't aware any ome coils yielded 3". I spoke for delta by saying he didn't have a 3" lift, I appoligise if I typed false info..

Oh I thought the OMEs were 3" with the 882s? What are they then? And will I need a diff drop?

I meant I didn't know if they were 3" or not, for some reason I had thought they were 2.5" of lift. And that's why I mentioned delta cause he mentioned having an ome setup. So from that I assumed he was under 3" like myself. Anyway....
I'd of had a diff drop on your truck already with the lift you currently have...

Yeah, I don't thinks it's 3 inches, more like 2.5 after everything settles.
