I have Icon UCAs installed and it's been about a year. I recently changed my CV axle and had the bolt on the tapered screw off to try remove the spindle, but then discovered the 2 bolts on the bottom of it and used that method.
But now there's a click and a squeak when turning. When I jack the truck up and let the suspension hang and pull the top of the wheel in and out, or lift the UCA up and down there's about 2-3mm of play.
I'd say it's fairly obvious they need to be replaced. Does this part have to come from Icon? I thought these were "lifetime" ball joints. Didn't even get a chance to really abuse them!
Any help or info would be greatly appreciated!

Any updates on this? I failed inspection last week with the ICON Billet UCA's and was wondering how things worked out for you.
