I had the same problems with my truck, turned out to be rust in the fuel tank baffle area had clogged the strainer. Get your fuel pressure checked. Before buying injectors test the resistance with an ohm meter, that will usually tell you which one is bad.
Look at the wiring for your maf sensor, those wires are prone to breaking.
I found 2 wires on my maf harness that were starting to break, wasnt my issue but definantly would have been one had I let it go.

hey guys, Sorry to bring this thread back but still haven't fixed my truck. So replace: cam sensor, cat, plugs, wires, coils, new vac lines, new gaskets in the intake manifold and cleaned it out, new (used) maf, my mechanic just replaced the crank sensor. everything up to the crank sensor didnt work. after the crank sensor was changed we can now rev it to around 4k rpms but still not higher than that, cuts out like a rev limiter now. still thinking fuel injectors or ignition module or computer? any further ideas?
