I don't understand your logic on bolt on vs. weld on

This is good stuff. I'm in the exact same boat. Already have good tires but now can't decide which way to go next. Leaning towards sliders myself to help with the rocker protection since I live off a gravel road and one rock has already left its mark on my lower door. At least now it's baptized. Curious to see what you do OP.

    Sliders.

Better to be protected first that to regret it later when you land on a rock with your quarter-panel.

    Check out Stubbs Welding.

Get the HD-SKO Sliders. ~420ish shipped to your door.

Great guy to work with, and best design out there for our truck.

    Cheers.

$500 isn't gonna go very far on a lift. A full OME lift with dakars (get rid of the stock leafs when you lift, they're garbage) runs about $1200ish

Go for the sliders. sliders were my second mod first was sway bar delete. With sliders and tires and some good driving you can get into some pretty sweet places. Hell I'm getting a full set of skids before my lift is ready

Thanks to all for unbiased awesome first hand info ! I placed an order yesterday for bolt on sliders, by SOS. Will be counting the days, anxious to get them picked up, painted, and installed.

I think I will be going the same route. I like the SOS bolt on and will be ordering some myself as soon as negotiations with the wife work out. Post some pics as soon as you get them JimboAnz!
