I'm jealous. I would absolutely love to see him live.. I don't think it's in the cards though unfortunately :(

That's awesome. He just seems like a badass and I'm a big fan of his stuff. Definitely a living legend in my book.

Awesome. I had the chance to see him a few months ago with the tedeschi trucks band but it ended up being the same night that I already had plans with my family for my moms birthday so I had to skip. He's definitely up there on my list to see live at some point

Just saw on the news that bb King is having health problems. Stopped eating and was very dehydrated when he was taken to the hospital and they found out he had a small heart attack. Hopefully he will be ok!

Happy I got to see BB play live. Even though he was already sick and the show was basically just him sitting in a chair on stage by himself.

Even in 2010 he was an amazing show. Smart, funny, engaging, brilliant player

Has lots of sad for a Friday morning now

Well I guess I'll never get to see him play. :( one of my all time favorite guitarists of any genre. Truly a man who could say more with one note than most could in an entire sentence.

In the winter of 1949, King played at a dance hall in Twist, Arkansas. In order to heat the hall, a barrel half-filled with kerosene was lit, a fairly common practice at the time. During a performance, two men began to fight, knocking over the burning barrel and sending burning fuel across the floor. The hall burst into flames, and the building was evacuated. Once outside, King realized that he had left his guitar inside so he went back into the burning building to retrieve his beloved $30 Gibson guitar. Two men died in the fire, and King learned the next day that they had been fighting over a woman named Lucille. King subsequently named that first guitar Lucille, as well as every guitar he has owned since, as a reminder never again to do something as stupid as run into a burning building or fight over women
