Okay so here is the deal- I bought an led bar and an opt7 wiring harness kit from Amazon and installed it without a hitch. Love the light bar and the set up, just not the switch. I want to get an oem fog light switch installed next to my steering column. Only problem is, as evident by the photos, the fog light switch has 4 smaller prongs, and the opt7 has 3 larger ones. My question for all you light folks- how do I get the switch wired up the correct way? Thanks for all the help in advance!

I got the switch hooked up and it is running correctly thanks to the help of a multimeter and lots of research- only one more question. What is the best way to actually illuminate the switch itself? I was thinking of going the fuse tap route, but figured I should converse with everyone here first

Yes you can use a "add a fuse" tap into your under dash fuse box. Use your multimeter to see what fuse turns on with lights or when key on/key off that way you can illuminate the switch however you like and it won't be on constantly.

Quick question what way did you end up routing the wires going from the white blue and black to the oem fog switch? Thanks I have the same harness just waiting on the oem switch to come in.

Care to post up your findings? I'm doing the exact same thing with the exact same parts. Would have loved for you to post which wires connect where.

Ok, so here you go. For anyone else looking to do the same:

I crimped some blue flat male wire connectors to the MicTuning switch.

Red #2 is what illuminates the switch when the dash lights come one. You'll have to tap into another wire for that feature to work. The way I have it wired here, the switch illuminates only when in the "on" position.

Also, not pictured, I would recommend either wrapping each connection with electrical tape or heat shrink to prevent contact between them.

I'm guessing the black and white ate the same. ..positive and ground. Your red is likely the same as my blue.

Compare the original wires on the switch from caliraised to see if that matches up with my hand drawing above.

I just installed a Cali Raised light bar and wired it up to a factory fog light switch. If your wondering where the 4th wire goes, here's what you do.
You need to buy an "add a circuit-fuse" first,(NAPA sells them). Gain access to your fuse panel under the dash. Connect the 4th wire (from the switch) to the "add a circuit-fuse" then plug it into the open fuse slot (upper row). It's the only one open in that row. It works with the dash lights. There are other open slots in the other rows but do not use them. They won't illuminate the switch. Not even sure what they are for. I tried them just for the hell of it but nothing happened.
