Where do you drive your truck. Mud, sand, gravel, paved roads... Will you be mad if they are loud?

    That is the important part.

I've only owned the Duratracs from that list so thats my only experience of those choices. I have had my Duratracs on my truck for 55,000 miles and they have worn amazingly. I would say they still have another 10,000 miles on them before they need to be looked at for replacement. I can't say much for their off road worthiness as I am mostly a pavement pounder, but I've never gotten stuck driving through the woods in Idaho and Washington in the winter.

Coopers. I have the duratracs... Good tire but a weak sidewall.

@Chux has a great review on the coopers

my last set of tires were nittos and my current set are coopers. If you are 95% pavement then the nittos are an excellent tire. I got 68,000 miles out of them and they wore evenly the entire time and were quiet. I went with the coopers this time because i wanted a more aggressive look and better off road capability. The coopers are perfect for me. They go through sand and mud amazingly and its a very strong tire. They look amazing IMO but the only downside to the coopers is that its a heavy tire so it will kill your gas mileage. i lost 1 mpg from the nittos and i have the same size tire. To me its worth it. Ive only put about 5,000 miles on them so far and i havent noticed much wear. I expect 50-60,000 on these.

Anything that could be said about any tire has been said countless times on this site. Decide if you want to compromise MPG's and comfort for an aggressive tire. If you do, get the Coopers. If you want a great highway tire, get Michelin M/S2. If you want a mild All Terrain get a P rated Hankook ATM.
