Not to thread jack here, but I'm going to be putting a set of these in 285/70/R17 on mine very soon, I've seen mention that 285's require a little modification to keep them from rubbing, I know I'll need spacers to push them out a little further, 1.25 seems to be common. I will be doing this on stock Sport suspension with plans to do no more than a minor (1.5-2" Bilstein w/AAL) lift within the next 6-8 months just to level it off a little. What kind of wheel well modification will I need to do to retain similar articulation to stock?

Thanks in advance, all the topics I seemed to find pertained to trucks after being lifted.

Nice looking tires and I envy you if you got the E load range tires cause $225/tire is a bit too much for my wallet.

The real answer or the MAN answer? :boink:

They are a true 32" tire, fits perfectly and absolutely no rubbing.

    Graaaate !
I'm guessing you have a lift.
How many inches can I fit with stock height. That particular size is on my wishlist, hadn't come around to check if they'd fit. Being a wee bit narrower, I'm hoping yes

No lift, no spacers and no problems. Just how I like it.

I am completely satisfied with the size and tire selection. there are photos in my gallery for reference

If I'm pulling a trailer in the rain and have to stop fast, do you think they can handle it. I carry from 100 to 400 pounds of tools'n stuff on weekdays, and pull a 2k pounds trailer now and then !

The easy solution to this is to just use trailer brakes. I can't speak from experience with these tires but from my experience with similar tires I would try to avoid any situation requiring an emergency stop with 2k pounds in tow.

I haven't noticed a loss of traction in wet conditions. These tires have deeper tread and more siping than your stock tires. This in my book equals a net gain in all departments aside from noise. They are not loud, you can hear them but the traffic a mile ahead of you can't hear them like they could if they were a mud tire.

Yeah, I've been thinking of putting trailer breaks, for now I tow 4, 5 times a year, for now.
    Thanks for the output

I have the exact tire. For living in Western Canada they're pretty good. The only issues I've every had is slippage on hard packed snow or icy conditions but 4x4 fixes that. As far as deep snow they're great. I'm waiting for Canadian Tire to put them on sale again and I'll probably get them in a 285.
