Should you keep your stock parts on truck for the first 16k km (in Canada)?

So I have been involve in installation of stereo in vehicle. Also security and remote starts.
Sometimes I wonder if that was the right truck that I could of get. With all these fine technology. I think there is a few things missing from my "Toy".
I will be following post and be making post as time goes on and I invite any private messages and questions from any one.

All of the gadgets that you are probably looking for only come on full size trucks.
With all of those gadgets comes a certain price point for which the Tacoma is not in. If you want all of the bells and whistles then yes, the Tacoma or any midsize truck is not the right truck for you.

I agree with you but I am quite good at where I am at with the truck. I have done some mods my self but was thinking it was just too early.
Mods like tailgate lock, step protection. And tray covering. Side step bar.
    I add the K & N intake air filter in April 2015.

With this post I will add as much photos in the future as to what I talk about in this post. Request information from me directly if you wish. the vehicle is a 2014 Tacoma.
So for a while now I had my CB and VHF Radio, in my truck all times temporary. So this weekend I am tiding up my interior, so I got a fuse block and place it under the center console just ahead the transmission lever. that allow me to not be going to the battery all the time for power. #4 gauge cable with 1/4 ring lug. (lots of amp).
I will use relays to control power to any accessary that I install. relay will be after the and powered by switched power source e.g. 12 volt cigarette lighter (but cant get behind the dash to splice so I hoping to try the radio power source). using common ground which is on the right side under the climate control when you remove the center console. ( I use a 5/8 X 8 teck screw and tap into that metal from the side) so I only need positive volt location now for relay control.
To control the relays I leave wires for future add-on, both - & +. so now when I shut down I don't expect to have power in my cab running my battery down as before. my power amp use to drain my battery if I forget to switch it off because it was not hooked up to the radio remote power.
any idea of how to get at the back of the cig power source is welcome.
