I have a unique problem with my 2003 Taco. My passenger side tail light and backup light won't turn on. I know what the problem is but can't figure out a way to fix it. The plastic disc at the base of the bulb mount is floating and won't make contact with the bulb connections. I can use electrical tape to hold it once I find the proper orientation but have no idea what that looks like. Does anyone have ideas??

I figured out my initial question. The plastic tab with the wiring connections follows the light bulb slots within the metal housing. Still....I can not get my passenger side tail light to work. Pulled out the multimeter. The wiring to the tail light has continuity. I have two bulbs. They both check out fine with the multimeter. The brake light which shares the same bulb works. The drivers side tail light works.
