The Kings came in yesterday, comparing them to the base 600# eibachs has me wondering if I bought the wrong ones, I knew they'd be beefier but wasn't expecting them to be this big. They measure out to 14" tall with a 3" ID. Thanks!

Oh yeah, the Fox's came with 13" springs. Not sure why Fox made that change when their older style came with 14's (I think). You should be fine with the adjustment collar moved to the top.

They should work just measure from the top to the bottom of the co and after you put in the kings adjust the threads so they measure the same as before top to bottom.

Thats what they were claimed to be set at when they were built. They sat a lot lower than when I had my icons. And I never adjusted either.

    So let's say 2-2.25"

Not sure if king coils will fit on fox CO's, I know Icon will fit on king and vice versa but I don't think I've seen people put icon / king on fox. Let us know what happens in any case.

    Back from vacation,
PM Micah @ downsouth motorsports directly, he'll take care of you, also I'm pretty sure there's a TW discount.

After chatting with him it's been confirmed that these will work together just fine.
I'll post photos once I have access to a spring compressor.

Where did you pick up your Fox coilovers with DSC R/R? I got mine from Allpro, and after talking with the Fox tech and giving him the part number, he said they (the Allpro ones) are a specific coilover for Allpro's longtravel kit, and they have a 650# coil already on. I was looking to bump up to a 700# as well. I'm just curious about this.

@TacoSTIG, how did this go? Looking to do something similar, going to higher rate 14" springs. The King look like a good option and I kind of like the blue, like FOX used to be.

Also any hints or tricks on replacement? I'm debating just renting a spring compressor and taking care of it myself but haven't ever taken apart coil overs like this. I know how OME work but not 100% on my FOX.

Hey man, so far so good, the 700's were the right choice especially after adding a ton of armor weight.

Regarding replacement, the standard spring compressors you can rent are not suitable for the job. I'd swing by a local shop that has a heavy duty press. Even the wall mounted unit my local shop had seemed to be straining to get the job done. They're beefy springs, with a larger than standard coil diameter.

Have any of you replaced the coils on the fox 2.5 coil overs? Looking to get a heavier coil or spring because I feel like it rides like shiz in the front. Pls help or send a link for the right coil that’s heavier to replace the current coils on the front or give me some options to help the front not ride as crappy .. I have the 6” BDS lift on fox 2.5 coil overs ( not sure if the bds lift makes the fox coil overs longer to reach 6” of height) anyways I wanna upgrade to 700lbs but I’m not sure which spring is the right one to order etc! Pls help

With a 6" lift you must have a bracket lift so this may not be applicable. Do you know the length or model number of the shocks you have?

I run King 650 lb/in 14" long, 3" inner diameter springs on my FOX 2.5 IFP (no reservoir) extended travel shocks. I got my coils from Down South Motorsports who gives them part number SPR3-14-650. That might be King's p/n, not sure. These replaced the original 13" long 600 lb/in springs FOX used on my coil overs.

"I feel like it rides like shiz in the front" - What exactly is it doing that you're not happy with? I imagine this could be fixed with custom valving, not a spring rate/length change.
