This is for legitimate ideas of upgrades & modifications owners can do...... This is NOT a thread about trying to complain about how the truck is engineered & designed.

Granted - most ideas won't come out until we've had time to experience the truck. I thought it'd be fun to just think about what you'd do........based on what we know now.

    Go!

My first thought - is to convert the GoPro mount to hold my EasyPass box. Currently, I have a strip of 3M Dual Lock on the windshield so we can swap it back-n-forth between vehicles. How I'm gonna do that? Well....not sure. When I'm bored, I might click around and do some research.

The GoPro mount on the Gen 3 is a gimmick, UNLESS there's also a USB power outlet next to it, then you can install a GoPro or other camera and use it as a dashcam as your silent witness. (too many distracted drivers doing everything but driving)..

So, my first mod would be to look into adding a usb outlet to mount my dashcam.

Second: a rollup tonneau cover, so when I load my motorcycle, I can just roll it up.

My first mod will be a satoshi grill with fog lights mounted behind it.

Should be easy to do lifts and suspension upgrades, that's the good news about not changing the truck much so all the suspension parts should work.

Nothing yet. Old truck had the works.
Get rid of that grill. And color match those black fender flares on the off road.

First thing is to write Toyota corp, a sternly written letter...saying what the fuck have you done!? Is your design team full of drunk blind monkeys!? :D

Assuming the suspension is the same, (which is craaaaap) new coil-overs, UCA's and new rear leaf packs/shocks.

And a prerunner bumper to try and hide that fugly face...like this one.
