    nothin from them either.

    got a quote from Aamco (i know i know) as a starting point for a replacement flexplate.. all said and done, 760.

    going to get a second opinion and quote from a local member's recommended shop and go from there.

    both for an OEM flexplate. hoping its just that.. if not, the converter, which ill go reman'd.. for a couple hundred vs 1k.

    Tor, have you thought about using a Divorced transfer case to get 4wd back? in theory you would be able to mate it to any transmission, with only a short drive shaft in between them. I know you can the Dodge 205 cases for cheap, and they are everywhere

    My research led me to married, but the married AWD. For my vehicle's needs, AWD is the only choice.

    I looked at a lot of the divorced setups. Just don't come across nearly as robust overall. Plus it creates a more creative challenge for cross-member supports.

    This setup posted above by Darthyota, I feel is the best choice overall, for the manual 4x4 owner, coupled with the URD T-56 kit. In the event that their either want something different or are left with a failing AY6.

    The cross member will likely have to be slightly modified, as mine was, since the kit is for an XR, unless URD was motivated to get measurements for the 4x4's own cross member. Basically a standoff and a notch are all that is needed.

    with the rockland setup it means you bolt something like an atlas up with out an adapter and have an absolutely bomb proof driveline in your manual tacoma and still have it fun to drive with a great manual trans

    A visual inspection of it will give you evidence of the necessity or not. The desire to do so, would mean you probably need a custom one made. I'd just check it out. If you feel doubtful of it then just replace it.

    To bad I never kept any of the ones which came with my engines. Otherwise I'd ship it to you for free.

    Tor, looking for a Fuel Pressure Regulator with two outputs to control the primary and secondary rails. Nothing crazy expensive but of solid build quality. Something that can run off the stock vacuum line maybe?
