Anyone heard from Tim lately? I've PM'ed him twice in the last two weeks with no reply back. I know he's busy with his residency but he usually replies back within a couple days. Anyone know of he is alive and well?

Haven't seen him post lately in the local thread but I know he's going to school and working since he's moved up here to the Portland area. I'm sure he's alive and well :)

Awesome. I'll try giving him a call tomorrow. Got all worried since he usually found time to check in here and there.

What is a thread worth without a picture:

Reviving an old thread to ask the original question. Is Tim/Elite-Offroad still alive?

I really like the look of that bumper for the 1st gen Taco, live nearby, and have cash in hand if he is and is accepting orders with a realistic delivery date. Hope all is well!

Oh goodie, a shitshow. Definitely makes me hopeful.

But then again, just another way that the community vouches for the quality of these bumpers.

It's been about 7 months since my PayPal purchase of one of Tim's bumpers. We had a series of emails stating what I wanted and when things were getting done, and then silence for the last 3 months. PayPal states it's too late to get that money back and he quit replying to emails about that the same cutoff time. I don't like getting ripped off and it angers me more that I live across the country from him and can't really take a flight out there or drive there in a day, or I would. I've been cool so far, but the more I read the more I realize what's happened.

First post here in TW and it's like this. But Tim hasn't really gone outside this forum and I haven't ventured away from mine.

I should have it mounted up in a few weeks. I gave it an acid bath and rattle canned it black to prevent further rust until then. But I'll have to cut/weld the frame ends on my '99 for it.
